callistaReasons why today was a good day:
+ I wasn't late for my first class. I was supposed to wake up at 6:45 am so that I could catch either the 7:30 or 7:45 bus. But that's kinda hard to do when you went to bed only 5 hours before :P Needless to say, I got to the lecture theater late, but to my surprise, the lecturer still hadn't started the lesson. In fact, he only started talking once I had found a seat. AND he dismissed us 30 minutes early :D
+ I actually got the chance to bond with some of my classmates. While waiting for Genetics lab to start, I hung out with some of my female classmates and we had a lot of fun just talking and laughing about the most inane things. Unfortunately, this "bonding" session was born out of our backstabbing of two of our male classmates. But I didn't actually say anything negative; I just kept laughing (which, in retrospect, isn't really much better :P). On a more personal note, my classmates actually think I'm one of the smartest people in the class. Wow. Makapal na kung makapal, pero nakakataba lang talaga ng puso :)
+ Our Genetics tutorial was cancelled AGAIN :D I was supposed to have a class from 6 to 7 pm, but the profs are human too; that time slot is just too inconvenient for everyone concerned. In short, tinamad yung prof :P But I'm not about to complain.
+ I got to the bus stop at the same time as the bus I needed. As in sakto. It seems like such a trivial thing, but when you've been here as long as we have (which is not that long, but you get the point :P), you'll realize how RARE that is. At nakakabato talaga maghintay ng bus pag atat na atat ka na umuwi. The best part was that I was the last person to arrive at the bus stop; there was already a large crowd waiting when I got there. Despite this, I was the FIRST person to get in :D And it's all thanks to the fine Filipino art of paniningit sa pila :D
+ I don't have class tomorrow! :D I still have to go out to meeteternalmortal for lunch, submit a lab report, and gather data from our Org Chem experiment last week, but at least I don't have to wake up early :D
Everything would be perfect if I didn't have choir practice later. But who knows? Maybe I'll have lots of fun there. I really want to rest though. Oh well. Basta masaya pa rin 'tong araw na 'to :D
